Google's ARCore software developer kit (SDK) will allow phones to use physical objects in a virtual reality setup to create a mixed reality situation using the phone's processors, motion sensors, light sensors and of course, the camera too. Until now, ARCore has only been able to use single cameras only. With the new update, the Google Play Services for augmented reality (AR) will be able to use two cameras for select phones. This feature will particularly come in handy as most smartphones nowadays come with multiple camera setup.

Well, in a recent report that surfaced online, a Google Pixel smartphone is the reason a person in Missouri gets to live after having a serious vehicle incident. Walker in his Reddit post explains how his Google Pixel 4 XL saved him from an accident that could have been fatal had his phone not helped. He was operating a Bobcat loader within his private property when the vehicle fell into a ravine and overturned. Google today launched the first developer preview for the next major version of Android, Android 12, today. Unfortunately, the phrase 'developer preview' isn't the same as the word 'beta', so the Android Beta Program isn't open for the new OS just yet.
As the name suggests, this is for developers, and it's not going to be very stable. Of course, early adopters can still get their hands on it, but you'll have to jump through a few hoops. With the Android Beta Program, it's as simple as enrolling your device and grabbing an OTA update; for a developer preview, you're going to have to flash an image on your phone.
