Xbox today detailed its Pride celebrations, which include a $150,000 total donation to LGBTQIA+ non-profits, inclusive gear, in-game content and more.
“Team Xbox proudly supports LGBTQIA+ players during Pride month and beyond,” Katrin Hilman and Todd Bohanna, Community Co-Leads at Team Xbox LGBTQIA+, wrote. “To honor Pride, we are focusing on intersectionality and lifting up LGBTQIA+ voices across gaming. We are also highlighting stories of Team Xbox and Microsoft members, and Microsoft is making a $150,000 total donation to LGBTQIA+ nonprofits.”
The nonprofits include the likes of the ACLU Foundation, The Trevor Project, Act to Change, OutRight Action International, BEAM, and Mermaids. Those in the USA can also choose to funnel their Microsoft Rewards points to charities including The Trevor Project, OutRight Action International and the Transgender Law Centre.
Xbox is celebrating Pride Month with a ton of in-game rewards, new ways for players to support and donate, and more. The biggest feature of this year's Pride Month celebration is that Tell Me Why from DontNod Entertainment is completely free for the entire month of June!

Microsoft have unveiled the latest video games coming to their premium subscription service. Today, Xbox Game Pass welcomes indie adventure title, The Wild at Heart, with more gaming goodness promised throughout June.

In an official Xbox news post, Microsoft dropped a reminder that on June 13th they will be hosting a “Xbox & Bethesda Games” showcase – perhaps a hint that we’ll be seeing even more of the publisher’s games appear on Game Pass?
Either way, there’s plenty to look forward to in June 2021 with the following games and DLCs joining the subscription service. In a couple of days, fighting game favourite, For Honor, will join Game Pass with indie games Backbone and Darkest Dungeon arriving next week.
