Trinamool Congress (TMC) minister from West Bengal Shashi Panja on Sunday took a swipe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that it is on back foot in Tripura.

Continuing his attack on Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya said that he will lodge a formal police complaint later in the day on Saturday against its Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) public utility, and also against private firms and contractors associated with the civic body.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) national spokesperson Saket Gokhale, who has been lodged in Gujarat jail in connection with a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in crowdfunding money.
