Poco is offering extended warranty to all customers whose warranty was set to expire in the months of May and June. Poco has extended the warranty for such customers by two months in India. The company's move comes amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country. The company has also announced that it will not launch any new devices during the month of May. Poco also said it will update its consumers on any new developments regarding upcoming launches or warranty extensions.

Xiaomi sub-brand Poco's latest offering, the Poco M3 is set to go on sale for the second time today after it was launched in the country earlier this year. The Poco M3 will go on sale via Flipkart, with the sale kicking off at 12PM (noon). The Poco M3 comes powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 SoC and a triple rear camera setup. The Poco M3 is one of the most affordable smartphone with 6GB RAM in the country currently. Poco had last week announced a special "Hello Yellow" sale for the Poco M3, where only the yellow colour variant of the smartphone will go on sale.

Focussed on stronger product portfolio in India for 2021, says POCO


POCO, which was spun off from Xioami as a separate entity last year, is focussed on bringing a stronger portfolio of smartphones and related products this year to strengthen its position in the Indian market.
POCO that ranked third after Xiaomi and Samsung in terms of units sold online in November (data from Counterpoint) will also continue with its strategy of introducing lesser number but feature-rich devices in the market.
"We saw significant growth in 2020 despite the challenges on account of the pandemic and that has been extremely encouraging. We ranked third among the online smartphone brands in November despite having less number of devices compared to competitors," POCO India Country Director Anuj Sharma said.
