More than 10,000 young people will connect and exchange ideas online at the first-ever International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Global Youth Summit, from 6 to 16 April. The outcomes of the Summit will be presented to the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Marseille, France, in September 2021, helping engage and empower the voice of youth in nature conservation around the world.
The Global Youth Summit will address topics including the relationship between people and nature, climate change, marine and freshwater conservation, technology and innovation, and rights, governance and social justice. The event will feature three high-level intergenerational dialogues, 60+ youth-led workshops, dozens of informal networking sessions, body awareness classes and a weekend film festival.

The new Corsa remains a guarantee of success for Opel: The latest generation of the classic small car has rolled off the production line in Zaragoza, Spain, around 300,000 times already, to be delivered to customers all over the world. Since the market launch of the Corsa in November 2019, the car has been a real winner and has taken various awards. For example, the fully electric Corsa-e was honoured with the “Golden Steering Wheel” as the most popular small car in Germany in 2020.
Elsewhere, the Corsa is also proving hugely popular with the customers. The smallest model in Opel’s product portfolio was not only the best-selling vehicle in the small car segment in Germany in 2020 – it is also leading the way in its segment this year. And, at times, the new Corsa was the best-selling car across all segments in the UK last year – a position it is currently holding this year too.

At Kazan Palace by Tasigo, a luxurious hotel with a great reverence for the past, a storied 1910 structure is married with contemporary design by the Polimeks Design Group. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kazan in southwest RussiaÂ the former hospital is now a showcase of high ceilings, stately stairways, and grand arches, combined with Polimeksâ soothing palette of whites and grays, modern sculptures by sculptor Erdil YaÅaroÄlu, and Turkish textiles. Over at Rocabella Mykonos Hotel, the design similarly blurs lines: here between the indoors and a sublime Aegean landscape. Munich-based investment manager Catella Real Estate AG (CREAG) has acquired an office development in Luxembourg for the Sarasin Sustainable Properties - European Cities Fund (SSP) million from Lafayette S.A. The building is located in the emerging Howald office district and offers 8,000 sqm of lettable space. Upon completion in Q1 2021 it will be occupied by the Saint-Paul Luxembourg media group, now part of the Belgian Mediahuis Group, owner of e.g. the Luxembourger Wort, Luxembourg Times and Radio Latina, on a long-term lease.
Axel Bertram, Co-Portfolio Manager of the fund at CREAG, said: “This is a great addition to SSP’s Benelux portfolio at the heart of Europe, where the Luxembourg office market has become one of the top Brexit destinations as a number of UK and US financial institutions relocate there to maintain their presence within the EU. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has released the shortlist for the 2021 International Women’s Day Recognition, with winners to be announced on 8 March’s global celebration of women and gender equality.
This is the second year, since its inception in 2013, the International Women’s Day Recognition has expanded into categories, awarding primarily women in the Paralympic Movement who inspire and emulate the Paralympic ideals, and serve as positive role models.
Five outstanding female candidates each, make up the Builder and Next Generation categories, respectively. Three organisations have been shortlisted for the National Paralympic Committee and International Federation (NPC/IF) category.

Filming of the MISFIT series for Netflix will start shortly. Splendid Film, Cologne/Amsterdam, and NewBe, Amsterdam, produce and supply the series, which is based on the plot of the successful Dutch cinema series MISFIT and was also produced by Splendid Film and NewBe.
In addition to MISFIT 3: De finale, which will be available on Netflix in the Netherlands and Belgium from April, MISFIT: De serie will also be a Netflix Original and can be seen worldwide on Netflix.
