Dublin City University says it is "astonished" over a complaint made by the Embassies of Georgia and Ukraine in Ireland about the university's teaching of a course on the geopolitics of the Caucasus and Ukraine. The two embassies sent a joint letter to the President of DCU, Professor Dáire Keogh, and copied it to a number of senior DCU academics and a senior official at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin on 8 April.
