Q3 GDP India s Growth Slows Down To 5 4 In December Quarter

Inflation based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 4.91 per cent in November from 4.48 per cent in the previous month, according to the data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

This compares to a cooling-off to 5.3 per cent recorded in August this year. The calm in inflation figures came after several months wherein the inflation levels had breached the threshold 6 per cent mark mandated by the RBI.
