A Burgaw woman has been charged with murder in connection with a child's death in 2017. Quanisha Jesha Fennell was charged Thursday by the Burgaw Police Department with second-degree murder and felony child abuse.  According to a press release, Burgaw police officers saw a man holding a small child in his arms and traveling north on Progress Drive in Burgaw on Dec. 11, 2017.
