Swarming season is here for Pueblo's bees. Here's how you can make sure to bee careful

Heather Willard, The Pueblo Chieftain
During the spring months, it's not uncommon to run across a swarm of bees clinging to a tree, fence, shopping cart or any other readily available surface.

Dru Spinnuzi is the 2021 Swarm Commander for the Pueblo County Beekeepers Association, and has dozens of hives throughout the county, including one in her own backyard. She noted that although there were not a lot of swarm calls last year, she's hoping for more this year.
