Responding to questions by Congress MLAs during Question Hour of the legislative assembly, state Civil Aviation Minister Balvantsinh Rajput said as of December 2023, the state government has spent Rs 17.5 crore for the now defunct service. Notably, the seaplane service was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2020 and was discontinued in April 2021.
