The Wadena-Deer Creek School Board asked voters to approve an operating levy increase and/or a bonding referendum. Residents cast their votes Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in a special election in Wadena.

If approved, our district will move forward with investments to strengthen resources for learning and improve our school buildings and grounds.
State funding has not kept up with inflation for over 15 years, and $900,000 in annual support that our district received during the pandemic will expire this year.
