Cryptocurrency markets witnessed a surge on Wednesday as Bitcoin surged 8% to reach $28,840 and Ethereum rose to above $1,800. The total trading volume reached $43.95 billion, a 59% increase from the day before. The market cap of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency, reached approximately $559 billion, while the global cryptocurrency market cap was about $1.13 trillion. Other major tokens including Cardano, Litecoin, Polygon, Solana, and Polkadot also traded with gains. According to experts, Bitcoin's support currently lies at $28,450 and resistance is at $29,000 and $30,000.

Bitcoin, Solana, and Polygon gained while BNB, XRP, and Cardano were down in Tuesday's mixed cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin was up 1% at $26,796, while Ethereum was above $1,700 level. Mudrex's CEO, Edul Patel, said Bitcoin consolidated above the $26,600 level and spiked above $27,000 before correcting gains. The global cryptocurrency market cap was around $1.07tn, increasing 0.62% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Bitcoin's market cap was around $520bn, with resistance at $27,200 and support at $26,700, according to CoinMarketCap.

Bitcoin saw some profit booking as the largest crypto token dropped below $26,500 mark, while Ethereum was also down as it dropped below $1,750-level.
