railtel: In FY24, RailTel targeting Rs 2,500-2,700 cr revenue, 25% plus growth over last financial year: Chairman

“We have participated in two to three small tenders, but the bulk will start coming out maybe in another five-six months and those will be delivered in the next five to six years, four to five years timeframe. This is a huge opportunity for RailTel also. There are also a couple of opportunities, that are due shortly. We will participate in those tenders. I cannot give a number, but we will clinch something not very big but in the next six months, we can expect orders worth roughly Rs 150-200 crore.”

railtel: RailTel eyeing more than 25% revenue growth: Sanjai Kumar

RailTel, the telecommunications arm of Indian Railways, is set to pursue revenue growth rates of over 25% and maintain EBITDA margins of between 18-19%. The company has a Rs. 4,400-4,500 crore order book, and a large portion of its projects involve working with the government to implement LTE and KAVACH-related rail signalling modernisation projects. RailTel has put in place plans to capture between 20%-25% of the Rs. 1 lakh crore budget allocated for rail signalling modernisation and related investments.

State-run RailTel Corporation of India, under the Ministry of Railways, has launched its high-speed Wi-Fi service at more than 4,000 railway stations across the country.
The central public sector enterprise (CPSE) as part of its Railwire Wi-Fi service has launched several high-speed prepaid plans. They provide 30 minutes of free access per day at 1 Mbps speed across the eligible railway stations after which users can choose a plan with higher speed by paying a nominal fee.

RailTel Corporation rises for third day; stock up 85% over issue price


Shares of RailTel Corporation of India surged for the third straight day on Tuesday to hit a fresh 52-week high on the BSE amid strong investor interest on the counter. The shares of the firm which got listed on Friday, have zoomed nearly 85 per cent over its issue price of Rs 94.
The scrip jumped 19 per cent over its previous close to hit an intra-day high, also its 52-week high, of Rs 173.50 on the BSE. At 11.40 am, the stock was trading 16 per cent up at Rs 168.60 while the BSE barometer Sensex was up 0.41 per cent at 50,054 around the same time.
The trading volume on the counter was high with a combined 34 million shares having changed hands on the NSE and BSE so far.

Auto stocks: Auto sales figures would start trickling in from March 1 onwards. Car and tractor makers are likely to report a strong set of auto sales numbers for the month of February, but growth in two-wheeler sales may not be as strong, according to analysts. RailTel Corporation of India: RailTel will make its market debut on Friday. The initial public offer (IPO), which was sold from February 16 to February 18, saw qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribing 65.14 times the quota limit. Non-institutional investors bade 73.25 times while retail individual investors (RIIs) bade 16.78 times the quota limit.
Mahindra Lifespace Developers: The realty firm said it has acquired 7.89 acres of land to develop a residential project in Bengaluru. The project will offer about 5 lakh sq ft of carpet area. The launch of the project is planned for FY 2022, the company said in a regulatory filing.

New Delhi: RailTel made a stellar debut on bourses on Monday as RailTel shares listed at a premium. Shares were trading at Rs 106, up 13% from the issue price of Rs 94. The IPO of RailTel was subscribed over 42 times and it had a price range of Rs 93-94 per share. 
At 10.01 am, shares of RailTel Corp traded 16% higher at Rs 108.90 apiece on the BSE. So far today, the stock has touched a high of Rs  109 apiece and a low of Rs 104.60. In comparison, Sensex was down 924 points or 1.81% at 50,14.90 while the NSE benchmark Nifty50 index was lower by 249 points or 1.66% at 14,847.45
