Amid a surge in coronavirus infection cases, the Rajasthan government on Wednesday decided to impose a night-long curfew from 6 pm to 5 am in the entire state from April 16. The night curfew was declared earlier in 10 urban areas of the state but with the spread of infection showing no sign of abating, the state government decided to enforce the regulatory measure in the entire state.
The order imposing the night curfew in the entire state was issued on late Wednesday evening. Night curfew will be there from 6 in the evening till 5 in the morning and markets will be closed by 5 pm, the government order said. According to the new guideline, all educational and coaching institutes and libraries too will remain closed from April 16 to 30. The number of guests in private functions, marriages and other social gatherings has been restricted to 50.

In the wake of a surge in COVID-19 cases across the state, the Rajasthan government on Wednesday announced a 6 pm to 6 am night curfew in all the cities till April-end.
The order states that the night curfew will be put in place from 16 April till 30 April, until further orders.
Guidelines issued by the Rajasthan government-
1. All markets, workplaces and commercial complexes shall remain closed during the night curfew. The markets and commercial centres have been directed to close by 5 pm so that people can reach their houses by 6 pm.

Rajasthan on Wednesday night announced a 12-hour daily curfew - from 6 pm to 6 am - starting Friday, across all cities, as part of a series of measures to combat a worrying spike in Covid cases.
The curfew will be in effect till the end of the month.
Other measures include closing of markets by 5 pm daily, and the complete closure of all educational and coaching institutions. Factories and bus stands will be exempt from this order.
Public functions and sporting events will not be allowed.
Weddings can have a maximum of 50 guests, as opposed to the earlier 100-guest cap.

Jaipur: Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, the Rajasthan government has made the RT-PCR test mandatory for people entering the state and those travelling outside. Besides shutting the schools, the state government has also imposed a night curfew and ordered the closure of multiplexes, gymnasiums.

New Delhi: Amid recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the Rajasthan government has reportedly imposed night curfew from Monday (April 5) and ordered the closure of multiplexes and gymnasiums.
The night curfew will remain in force from 8 pm to 6 am, in which food delivery will be allowed while dining at restaurants and hotels has been prohibited, PTI reported.

The Rajasthan government on Monday announced lifting of night curfew in 13 districts and other relaxations in a phased manner following a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases.
After presiding over a review meeting, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that it would be necessary to adhere to the health protocols, failing which the number of infected persons might increase. “No situation should arise where we are compelled to take harsh measures again,” Mr. Gehlot tweeted.

Rajasthan government on Saturday informed that night curfew from 8 pm to 6 am will continue to be in force within the urban limits of the district headquarter towns of 13 districts in the view of COVID-19.
The government released fresh COVID-19 guidelines for caution, surveillance and containment till January 15.
The curfew will remain imposed in Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Nagore, Pali, Tonk, Sikar and Ganganagar as per the guidelines.

कोरोना महामारी के खतरे के मद्देनजर राजस्थान सरकार सतर्क हो गई है। नए साल की पूर्व संध्या पर होने वाले कार्यक्रमों से वायरस के फैलने का खतरा है। ऐसे में राज्य सरकार ने इन कार्यक्रमों पर रोक लगाते हुए, प्रदेश के जिन भी शहरों की आबादी एक लाख से अधिक है, वहां 31 दिसंबर से एक जनवरी तक नाइट कर्फ्यू लागू करने का फैसला किया है।

राज्य सरकार के आदेश के मुताबिक, नाइट कर्फ्यू 31 दिसंबर रात आठ बजे लेकर एक जनवरी की सुबह के छह बजे तक जारी रहेगा। सरकार के निर्णय के मुताबिक, जिन भी शहरों की आबादी एक लाख से अधिक होगी, वहां नाइट कर्फ्यू लागू होगा। सरकार के इस फैसले से राजधानी जयपुर समेत जोधपुर, कोटा, उदयपुर, अजमेर, बीकानेर, भीलवाड़ा, नागौर, पाली, टोंक आदि शहरों में नाइट कर्फ्यू लागू होगा।

गौरतलब है कि राजस्थान के कई प्रमुख पर्यटक शहरों में बड़ी संख्या में लोग नए साल का जश्न मनाने के लिए आते हैं। ऐसे में कोरोना संक्रमण के फैलने की आशंका अधिक हो गई है। वहीं, कई होटलों में लोगों ने पहले से ही बुकिंग की हुई है, लेकिन सरका के निर्णय के चलते होटलों की बुकिंग रद्द हो सकती है।
कर्नाटक में भी लागू हुआ नाइट कर्फ्यू
इससे पहले, कर्नाटक सरकार ब्रिटेन में मिले कोरोना के नए रूप (स्ट्रेन) के चलते सतर्क हो गई। इससे बचने के लिए राज्य सरकार ने फैसला किया कि राज्य में नाइट कर्फ्यू लागू किया जाएगा। कर्नाटक सरकार के निर्णय के मुताबिक, नाइट कर्फ्यू 23 दिसंबर से लेकर दो जनवरी तक लागू होगा। नाइट कर्फ्यू की अवधि 10 बजे रात से लेकर सुबह छह बजे तक होगी।
कर्नाटक के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ के सुधाकर ने कहा, यह (नाइट कर्फ्यू) ब्रिटेन में पाए जाने वाले नए कोरोना वायरस से बचने और रोकने के लिए किया गया है। हम राज्य में पहुंचने वाले अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों की निगरानी भी कर रहे हैं।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्री से पूछा गया कि क्या क्रिसमस का जश्न मनाने की अनुमति दी जाएगी। इस पर उन्होंने कहा कि 23 दिसंबर से दो जनवरी के बीच, रात 10 बजे के बाद कोई भी समारोह या उत्सव मनाने की अनुमति नहीं है। यह हर तरह के कार्यों पर लागू होता है।
लोगों के लिए चलेंगे ये परिवहन
कर्नाटक के परिवहन मंत्री लक्ष्मण सावदी ने कहा, बंगलूरू मेट्रोपॉलिटन ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन और केरल स्टेट रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट कॉरपोरेशन की बसें, ऑटोरिक्शा और टैक्सी नाइट कर्फ्यू (11 बजे-शाम 5 बजे) के दौरान चलेंगी, जो आज रात से शुरू होगा।
