Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the self-styled jailed godman and Dera Sacha Sauda chief, has been granted regular parole of 30 days by the BJP-led Haryana government. Currently serving a life term for the murder of his manager in 2002 and also convicted for rape in 2017, Ram Rahim was released on parole five times before this.
