Chas Municipal Corporation sealed six apartments in Chira Chas as per the orders of Jharkhand Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). The reason behind the sealing was not disclosed. The buildings were unoccupied, raising questions about the fate of buyers. The case involved Upendra Prasad vs Raj Buildtech Company Limited. Buildings sealed include Golden Castle Luxury Apartment, Maa Saraswati Plaza, Ganga Heights, Maa Lakshmi Apartment, Maa Tara Apartment, and Maa Durga Apartment in Chira Chas.

The ED interrogated IAS officer Manish Ranjan for nearly 10 hours in the tender commission scam and money laundering case. The officer was questioned about his properties and summoned to provide more documents on June 3. The central agency is also interrogating minister Alamgir Alam.

A labourer lost his life after falling from the third floor of the hydrocracker plant within Surathkal police station limits. The deceased is Mangra Oroan, 38, from the Ranchi district of Jharkhand state. The incident occurred during the 9pm shift on Tuesday. A case has been registered against JC Engineering Company, MRPL safety officer, and the site supervisor. DYFI president condemned the incident and demanded action and compensation for the victim's family.
