Columbia Pacific Communities: KITES Senior Care has a major investor, Dr Ranjan Pai who invested about Rs 60 crore through his family office in two earlier funding rounds, and will hold 35% stake in the merged entity.
Over the next two years, Columbia Pacific Communities and KITES Senior Care plan to add approximately 2,000 retirement and assisted living units.
The merged entity will operate under the leadership of Rajagopal G, co-founder of Kites, who will serve as CEO and a director.
