Kolkata, Feb 7 (PTI) Absconding Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh was yet to appear before Enforcement Directorate (ED) sleuths on Wednesday for questioning in connection with its investigation into the alleged multi-crore ration distribution scam in the state, an official of the agency said.
Shajahan Sheikh, an absconding Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader, failed to appear before Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Wednesday for questioning related to an alleged multi-crore ration distribution scam in West Bengal. Instead, he sent his lawyer in the evening, seeking more time, but the agency rejected the request. This was the second summons issued to Shajahan by the ED.
