Mr. Biden is planning to undergo a medical checkup "later this year, and the results will be released to the public," White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement to CBS News. The Washington Post first reported the president's upcoming examination.
Mr. Biden, who at 78 is the oldest president in U.S. history, last provided the American people with a glimpse of his health 17 months ago, when his campaign released a three-page summary of his medical and surgical history. At the time of the December 2019 letter from Dr. Kevin O'Connor, the president was being treated for atrial fibrillation and took medications for seasonal allergies and occasional reflux.

The Defense Department's investigation into disgraced White House physician Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson released Wednesday mentions Montana only once, though the man Trump nominated to lead Veterans Affairs gets a chapter in Montanaâs political history.
In former President Donald Trumpâs visits to Montana in 2018 to campaign for Matt Rosendaleâs unsuccessful Senate bid, Jackson was mentioned repeatedly as a primary reason for Trumpâs interest in the race.
It was U.S. Sen. Jon Tester who first raised the issues of a military whistleblower concerning Jackson being drunk at work, liberally prescribing drugs, and creating a hostile work environment for White House medical staff. The Montana Democrat presented the whistleblower's concerns in the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs, where Tester was ranking member in April 2018, when Trump nominated Jackson to be VA secretary.

Donald Trump. The Department of Defense inspector general concluded while on duty, Jackson made “sexual and denigrating” comments targeting a female employee and violated policies against drinking alcohol while on a presidential trip.
The report, released on Wednesday, noted multiple witnesses who described Jackson’s accused actions.
“Many of these witnesses described RDML Jackson’s behavior with words and phrases such as ‘meltdowns,’ ‘yells’ for no reason,’ ‘rages,’ ‘tantrums,’ ‘lashes out,’ and ‘aggressive.’ These witnesses also described RDML Jackson’s leadership style with terms such as ‘tyrant,’ ‘dictator,’ ‘control freak,’ ‘hallmarks of fear and intimidation,’ ‘crappy manager,’ and ‘not a leader at all,'” stated the report according to the news outlet.
