Bombay HC reserved its order for Friday on the petitions filed by Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh seeking permission to cast their votes in the June 20 Maharashtra MLC elections.
While Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik will file a new petition to vote in the Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC) polls, former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh's petition will be heard on June 15.
Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh could not vote in the Rajya Sabha polls from Maharashtra as the court refused to grant them any relief. Voting for six Rajya Sabha seats went on till 4 pm.
