As COVID-19 cases continue to fall and more activities begin to open back up, San Francisco Recreation and Park Department officials announced Monday that all of the city's public pools will reopen by mid-June.
When the city entered the orange tier of the state's reopening guidelines last month, the move allowed for outdoor pools to reopen at 50 percent capacity and indoor pools to reopen at 25 percent capacity.

Six people were injured Saturday in a chain-reaction collision on Highway 101 initiated by a driver under the influence, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said 29-year-old Agustin Delariva, of Santa Rosa, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado at a high rate of speed on northbound Highway 101 north of Golf Course Drive in Rohnert Park when the vehicle rammed into stopped traffic.
Delariva's truck hit a Toyota Corolla, causing major damage. In turn, the Toyota was pushed into the car in front of it, a Mazda 3.

A 53-year-old Asian man was stabbed multiple times during a robbery late Saturday night on Exeter Street in San Francisco, police said.
San Francisco police officers from Bayview Station responded to a report of robbery and aggravated assault at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
After receiving medical aid, the victim told police a male stranger approached him from behind and demanded his money. The suspect then stabbed him with a knife, police said.

A 47-year-old woman died early Sunday morning when a truck hit her after she stopped to help at a crash scene on Interstate Highway 80 near Dixon early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The initial crash occurred shortly before 2:40 a.m. Sunday on westbound Highway 80 west of Dixon Avenue. A black Mazda CX-5 rear-ended a silver Hyundai Elantra and came to rest blocking lanes of the highway, prompting several people to stop at the scene to try to assist, CHP officials said.
