Peace Accord MNF Returnees' Association (PAMRA) issued a statement from Aizawl on Friday which asked Meiteis to leave Mizoram for their "own safety".
The PAMRA expressed regret that its release was misconstrued and decided not to pursue with their press statement any further in order to maintain peace and tranquility in the state.
