The SEC stated in the notice that because the aforementioned e-commerce businesses were not registered with it, the "financial services offered by them are also not authorized."
The SEC made this development known in a circular issued by the Commission on Monday in Abuja.
The SEC has recently announced the blacklisting of six firms following the commission's ongoing crackdown on illegal and unregistered online trading platforms.
