Riot Games unveiled on Monday, February 22, the eight teams invited to compete in the Philippine leg of the inaugural League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series: Preseason.
Wild Rift Asia Brawl champion Smart Omega and runner-up Nexplay Esports were added to the initial list of invitees in the preseason tourney that seeks to serve as a launch pad for Riot’s mobile MOBA game to flourish in the region.
Earlier this month, Riot extended its invitation to Bren Esports, Team Secret PH and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) PH to play in the warm-up tilt set on March 20 and 21.
