Senior IAS officer Sudhansh Pant has been named as the new Health Secretary as part of a top-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Centre on Tuesday.
T K Ramachandran, chairman of V O Chidambaranar Port Trust, Tuticorin, will be Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in place of Pant
Sudhansh Pant is a 1991-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He has been named Officer on Special Duty in the Department of Health & Family Welfare to take over as Secretary in the Department on Superannuation of Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan.
Sudhansh Pant has been appointed as the new health secretary, replacing Rajesh Bhushan who retires on 31July
