A member of the Rivers State chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) identified only as Miyer has been arrested. SaharaReporters gathered that the oil marketer was arrested by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) on Monday. He was arrested at his NNPC petrol station around Today FM, Rumuekini in Port Harcourt. Sources told SaharaReporters that Miyer was accused by the NSCDC officials of releasing a video footage showing their colleagues extorting him of millions of Naira.
