The move comes despite the growing economic and humanitarian repercussions of Russia's 16 month-old air, sea and ground assault.
It is reported that the current China-Russia maneuvers are not directed against any third country and aim to raise the level of bilateral strategic and military cooperation
During the course of the exercise, Russian and Chinese vessels and their crews are going to engage in simulated anti-submarine warfare and naval combat, and practice convoying ships by naval and air units.
