Laura Margaret Collins, 81, of Columbia, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Born in Troy, NY, on September 5, 1939, she was a daughter of the late John and Caroline Grace Taylor. She was a snake handler with the traveling Circus S before moving to Columbia in the early 1960’s. She enjoyed volunteering for the Title One Advisory Council of Education in Richland County. Laura spent her life being a large advocate for education. Survivors include her sons, Anthony John Booth (Sheila) and Joseph Booth; daughters, Jacqueline “Jackie” Booth Davidson, and Terrie Medlin; as well as a ...
