　　《白蛇2》用现代的国漫形象和故事新编，对传统中国神话故事《白蛇传》进行了再演绎。为将影片中核心创作概念“执念”得到可视化呈现，主创团队对剧本进行了精心打磨，希望在传统故事精神内核的基底上，能够契合当下年轻化审美，与时俱进进行创作，将中国传统文化更好地进行传承和创新。
　　昨天的路演现场，冒雨前来的观众依旧坐满全场，并完全被带入到故事情境中。影片结束，现场的掌声让导演黄家康由衷表示，“大家喜欢我们就放心了”。
　　现场，很多观众称该片的动画绘制称得上是“国漫天花板”，无论是开场大战法海还是修罗城的赛博朋克风，抑或是“黑风洞”的水彩画风，都让观众赞叹“太酷”“好美”，对于该片的美学风格，黄家康说：“其实没有刻意去追求什么风格，只希望做中国的风格，做符合故事和角色设定的风格，这就够了。”对于剧情和开放性的结尾，也有很多观众请主创现场答疑，黄家康耐心地给大家解答，他最后表示：“其实这部动画片，我们不专门设定性别、情感，只是想说明去完成内心的执念，是要付出很多的。这个执念不是贬义词，它是我们内心的目标和理想。”
　　《白蛇2：青蛇劫起》在技术上试图达到国漫的新阶段，影片包括16个制作环节，制作周期横跨358天。导演黄家康表示，“水漫金山”经典场景是制作中的一大难关，在考虑场景变化的同时，还需要保留独特风格，为使画面得到更好呈现，相关技术研发提前了2年。“完成这部电影我们也经历了很多，包括遭遇疫情，包括我们人员的流失，但最后我们还是完成了作品，这也是我们的一个执念吧！”他透露，该片还在热映，但《白蛇3》已经开始筹备。
