Kyle Sandilands has defended Sia following her recent admission that she's autistic.
Sia said that “knowing about which neuroatypicality [she] may have or may not have” has been a relief.
Two years ago, Sia released her directorial film debut, Music, which was widely criticized for its inaccurate depiction of autism. Sia eventually apologized for the film, and last year she said that she was suicidal and relapsed due to the negative reaction to Music.
Sia revealed her adulthood diagnosis of being on the autism spectrum two years after her movie "Music" with Maddie Ziegler sparked backlash.
Sia is opening up about a new chapter in her health journey.
