'He had a heart of gold': Former studio manager at WJXT, John Cermack, dies unexpectedly
Former WJXT floor director, John Cermack, also known by his nickname "Smack", died unexpectedly Thursday night due to an accident. He had worked for Graham Media Group for more than 18 years and was most recently working with the engineering team at WSLS in Roanoke.
