Meanwhile, the Senate has confirmed the appointment of four other members of the Board of Directors of the CBN.
Urum Eke, a consultant to the World Bank and other international financial institutions, rejected his nomination to avoid conflict of interest.
The names were contained in a letter addressed to the Senate President, Godswill Akpiabio, and read at plenary on Tuesday.
