Wicked Local CARVER – Officials have signed off on a new agreement for trash removal from Carver to the SEMASS energy-from-waste facility in West Wareham. The new Municipal Solid Waste Disposal agreement finalizes financial terms for the delivery of waste from Carver to the SEMASS resource recovery facility on Route 28. The five-year agreement establishes an acceptance fee of $77.65 per ton this year, $79.59 per ton in the 2022 calendar year, $81.58 per ton in the 2023 calendar year, $83.62 per ton in the 2024 calendar year and $85.71 per ton in the fifth year.
