On October 28, 2023, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu participated in the Closing Ceremony for the “Women and Youth Empowerment in Climate-Smart Agricultural Entrepreneurship” training program at the University of Belize Central Farm Campus.
The training program was conducted under the TaiwanICDF Flood Warning Capacity Improvement for the Belize River Basin Project.
In a collaborative effort to better prepare Belize for the challenges posed by climate change, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, in conjunction with the TaiwanICDF, celebrated the completion of the Belize Interdepartmental Rapid Response Team Training Program today.
On September 4th, opening ceremonies were held for a four-week Women Skills Training on manicures and pedicures benefiting 30 women.
Their success was not only founded on their own victory with a day to spare, but also because Saudi Arabia paved the way for them to get it done by beating India earlier in the day
