Pittsburg Mayor Ron Seglie, along with other city officials, hosted the second Spruce Up Pittsburg meeting at Memorial Auditorium Thursday night. Spruce Up Pittsburg is a city-wide, civic pride initiative championed by Seglie to clean-up the city and improve the quality of life.
Later this month, on Feb. 23, the City of Pittsburg will host the “Spruce Up Pittsburg Community Conversation.” Prompted by Pittsburg Mayor Dr. Ron Seglie’s contention that Pittsburg is “atrociously messy,” the event will be a brainstorming session of sorts to come up with an action plan for cleaning up the city.
In his short time serving as Pittsburg mayor, Dr. Ron Seglie has already distinguished himself as an innovator.
