And closer. our meteorologist is in the weather center. jennifer, dorian is on the move and very dangerous? yep, dorian is finally on the move. we should add it was sitting stationary over grand bahama island for so long. now it s moving at 6 miles per hour. it s running parallel to the florida coast. we don t expect it to get much closer to florida. the problem is the wind field is expanding. tropical storm force winds extend 175 miles from the center. so tropical storm force winds will absolutely make it on shore. the center of the storm has 1 110-mile-per-hour winds, gusts 130. on this track, you can see the rain bands pushing on shore across ft. pierce, palm bay, all along the florida coast. that will bring the potential for flooding. it s also going to bring those gusty winds and the gusty winds will continue as the storm rides to the north. so we ll watch out for possible flooding as well as that push of water into, around the barrier ....
