It was a study in domination and impeccable strategy. Leading a NASCAR All-Star Race record 199 of 200 laps, pole winner Joey Logano kept Denny Hamlin and peripatetic Kyle Larson at bay on Sunday night in winning the 40th running of the event and collecting the $1-million top prize.
The two-time Cup Series champion from Middletown, Connecticut, posted a pole-winning three-lap qualifying run in 1:29.75 seconds to claim his first All-Star pole position while Christopher Bell's No. 20 team achieved the 2024 Mechanix Wear Pit Crew Challenge with the fastest-recorded four-tire pit serve in 13.223 seconds.
