Markets in the Asia-Pacific region were trading on a mixed note on Tuesday on lack of significant cues.

Share indices in Japan and Australia were largely trading flat. Markets in Hong Kong declined.

Brent crude was trading 0.04% lower at $73.53 a barrel. Gold was up 0.35% at $2,053.08 an ounce.

The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.06% higher at 21,423 as of 07:16 a.m.

JK Tyre Share Price Hits Record High As Q2 Profit Jumps Fivefold

Shares of JK Tyre and Industries Ltd. hit an all-time high on Thursday after its consolidated net profit jumped five times in the second quarter.
The company's profit increased to Rs 248.6 crore compared to Rs 49.6 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday. It also beat the consensus analyst estimates of Rs 203.4 crore.
JK Tyre's stock rose as much as 13.99% to Rs 351.25 apiece during the day. It pared gains to trade 8.47% higher at Rs 334.25 apiece compared to a 0.84% decline in the benchmark NSE Nifty 50.

Blue Dart hits 52-week high; delivers 18% in five days

Blue Dart Express climbed 2.55% to Rs 5493.80, extending its winning run to fifth consecutive trading session.Shares of Blue Dart rallied 18.5% in five trading days from its previous closing low of Rs 4636.65 on 4 March 2021. The counter hit a 52-week high of Rs 5,526.25 in intraday today. The counter is up 195% from its 52-week low of Rs 1860 posted on 17 August 2020.
In last one-month, Blue Dart added 19.37% compared with a 8.87% rise in S&P BSE Small Cap index.
On the technical front, the stock's RSI (relative strength index) stood at 79.354. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. Traditionally the RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30.

NEW DELHI: S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading on a positive note at 02:50PM (IST) on Monday.
Shares of BEML (up 20.0 per cent), Saregama India (up 20.0 per cent), Subex (up 19.97 per cent), MEP (up 19.89 per cent) and Universal Cables (up 17.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While MJCO (down 4.99 per cent), Gabriel India (down 4.95 per cent), Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (down 4.84 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 4.17 per cent) and Brightcom Group (down 3.98 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 1.0 per cent up at 21144.45 around 02:50PM.

NEW DELHI: S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading higher at 02:49PM (IST) on Thursday.
Shares of Rane (Madras) (up 20.0 per cent), Kennametal India (up 20.0 per cent), Himadri Speciality Chemical (up 19.95 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 19.93 per cent) and Just Dial (up 18.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Asian Granito India (down 13.78 per cent), Huhtamaki India (down 11.94 per cent), Hindustan Foods (down 5.0 per cent), OnMobile Global (down 5.0 per cent) and Agro Tech Foods (down 3.42 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 1.4 per cent up at 20300.94 around 02:49PM.

Broader market trades firm; breadth remains strong

The benchmark indices firmed up once again in afternoon trade. The Nifty reclaimed 15,100 mark again. Positive global cues boosted investors' sentiment. Trading was volatile as the February 2021 F&O contracts expire today, 25 February 2021.
At 13:20 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, soared 386.07 points or 0.76% at 51,167.76. The Nifty 50 index added 149.35 points or 1% at 15,131.35.
Reliance Industries (up 3.31%), Axis Bank (up 3.75%) and HDFC Bank (up 0.94%) supported the uptrend.
The broader market outperformed the benchmark indices. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index rose 1.12%. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index gained 1.25%.
Buyers outpaced sellers. On the BSE, 1,792 shares rose and 1,052 shares fell. A total of 148 shares were unchanged.

Benchmarks hit day's high; Sensex reclaims 50k mark

Domestic equity benchmarks extended early gains and hit the day's high in morning trade. The Nifty was trading above the 14,800 mark and the Sensex regained the 50,000 mark. Banks, financials, metals and industrials shares were in demand.
At 10:24 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 337.47 points or 0.68% to 50,088.88. The Nifty 50 index added 112.65 points or 0.77% to 14,820.45.
Global stocks advanced after Fed Chair Jerome Powell indicated that the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) was nowhere close to pulling back on its support from the economy as it will still take sometime for it to achieve the employment and inflation goals.

Smallcap stocks: Stock market update: SmallCap stocks down; Central Bank of India sheds 10%

Bank of Maharashtra (down 7.26 per cent) and Future Lifestyle Fashions (down 6.39 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
While Sonata Software (up 15.83 per cent), Hindustan Copper (up 15.66 per cent), Vaibhav Global Ltd (up 11.99 per cent), Jagran Prakashan (up 11.26 per cent) and Ratnamani Metals & Tubes (up 10.58 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 0.68 per cent down at 19727.52 around 03:01PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 248.65 points at 14733.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 941.21 points at 49948.55.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.
