Mmusi Maimane and Julius Malema both defended the new Joburg mayor, Jolidee Matongo, against the xenophobic comments directed towards him.
“You can engage people on their ideas, on their track record of delivery as leaders, on their political choices. But xenophobia, that’s not acceptable. Not today or any other day,” said Maimane.
Mmusi and Natalie Maimane recently opened up about their marriage.
"It sounded like she was at the climax of her speech and Eskom be like 'not today sweets, not today'," joked one Twitter user.
