National News Agency - Finance Minister after meeting President: It was decided to communicate with Alvarez & Marsal to follow-up on forensic audit

NNA - President Michel Aoun met Finance Minister, Ghazi Wazny, today at Baabda Palace.
Minister Wazny declared a decision to communicate with Alvarez & Marsal company, to follow-up forensic audit in Central Bank accounts, Ministries, independent interests and public institutions, whatever the nature of these accounts.
Former Minister, Salim Jreisatti, and Presidency Director-General, Dr. Antoine Choucair, attended the meeting.
Minister Wazny:
After the meeting, the Finance Minister made the following statement:
“A meeting, chaired by His Excellency the President, was held today. It was decided, based on the Parliament’s Law and Cabinet decisions, to communicate with Alvarez & Marsal, to follow-up the forensic audit in the accounts of BDL, Ministries, independent interests, funds and public institutions, whatever the nature of these accounts.
