FBM KLCI finishes at intraday high
KUALA LUMPUR: The benchmark FBM KLCI ended at its intraday high on Wednesday amid cautious trade ahead of release of fourth-quarter gross domestic product (GDP) data. The 30-stocks index rose 0.68% or 10.72 points to close at 1,596.85. It opened 0.81 of-a-point higher at 1,586.94 this morning. Broader market sentiment stayed cautious with 628 losers and 504 gainers, while 468 counters traded unchanged. Trading volume was 4.83 billion shares valued at RM3.61bil.
