Samsung has said that there will not be a new Galaxy Note smartphone coming this year. The company has regularly launched its Galaxy Note series smartphones in the second half of the year, but it looks like plans have changed for 2021. The development was shared by Samsung Electronics' President and Co-CEO, Koh Dong-Jin at Samsung's 52nd regular shareholders meeting. Koh, who heads Samsung's IT and Mobile Communications division, also said that the South Korean tech company does not plan on abandoning the Galaxy Note series altogether and that it was just for this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G not just flaunts Gorilla Glass Victus back panel but offers oodles of RAM and storage. It features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 2100 SoC, IP68 water resistance rating, 108MP quad-camera setup, stereo speakers tuned by AKG, Android 11 OS, and a 5,000mAh battery. The device tags a premium price of Rs 94,750 (Amazon India).
Samsung has just announced the new Galaxy S21 series as part of its first Galaxy Unpacked event for 2021. The series, comprising the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra, comes with a number of improved features but removes some too. With the CES 2021 underway, American chipmaker Qualcomm has introduced its next generation of in-display fingerprint sensors. The new Qualcomm 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2 is the company's latest ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and it is being said that the fingerprint sensor will be debuted with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, that is scheduled to launch on Thursday, January 14. According to Qualcomm, the new 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2 will be 77 percent larger than its predecessor at an 8mm by 8mm measurement, as compared to the 4mm by 9mm dimensions of the predecessor.
