Mum and dad would bring us here, bring a blanket, a picnic, build sandcastles on the beach. It was great. Dad was a good dad. He was very much a family man. Loved his kids, there was three of us. But tonight im going on a very different kind ofjourney, a personal one, to find out about a condition which killed my dad. Well, to see him suffering like that, it was dreadful. I still miss him now. Its not the same, is it . No. Sepsis is taking and changing thousands of lives. People of all ages, across wales. I meet some remarkable people, a mother who lost her teenage daughter. Anyone is at risk of sepsis. Anybody could fall to this silent killer.
