When the polling for 20 constituencies in the state begins at 7 am on Friday, more than five lakh first-time voters will go to the polling booth
Voting will be held in Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha and Yavatmal-Washim seats in the west Vidarbha region and Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani constituencies in Marathwada from 7 am to 6 pm across 16,589 polling centres, officials said.

Voting for six Lok Sabha seats in the northeast will be held on April 26, the second phase of the general election. Five of these seats are in Assam and one in Tripura. The same day, one seat in Manipur will see partial voting.
