new 9:00 p.m. host to appoint. he has to figure out what to do with the talent that was brought in for cnn plus and also there are hundreds of employees who potentially could be laid off. he s going to try to find in the town hall he was talking about trying to absorb some of those people into the organization. right. so he has work to do, he s got hundreds of people so he has work to do if he s going to find them other places inside cnn. is this story, sara, related to the netflix story? is it coincidence that cnn shut down the same week as netflix s earnings report but does this say something about the streaming business? yes, during the pandemic there was a huge boom in subscription streaming, people were willing to put that money out. but what we are seeing that market may not be as big as it once was. over and over consumers are willing to suspend about $40 a month on subscription services but that increased. that s the headline, this is a seed change for streaming.
