Lok Sabha elections: Here's how Jharkhand's Bokaro district is preparing for successful polls
A unique 'parents-teachers meeting (PTM) on voting' in Jharkhand's Bokaro district drew around 97,000 participants, who pledged to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Additionally, 1.51 lakh rural women from Self Help Groups (SHGs) gathered to discuss ways to ensure the success of the democratic process. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the polling day on May 25 in the Dhanbad and Giridih constituencies. Initiatives like the Voter Helpline App and 'democratic' classrooms have been launched to promote electoral literacy and ensure free and fair polls.
