Infuriated over the Jammu and Kashmir Public Universities Bill-2022, staffers of four major universities have formed an alliance to oppose it. Office-bearers of the staff groups of University of Jammu, University of Kashmir, SKUAST-Jammu and SKUAST-Kashmir have formed a joint action committee.
According to the Review Committee's recommendations, these employees' performance was deemed unsatisfactory, and their continued employment with the government was deemed detrimental to the public interest.
