Barrow man who stole from Cohens and Bargain Booze is sentenced
SENTENCING: South Cumbria Magistrates' Court A SHOPLIFTER has been sentenced to a curfew. Scott Dobson, 40, admitted that he stole three candles worth £45 from Cohens Chemist in Barrow on September 29 and two bottles of vodka worth the same from the Bargain Booze store in Settle Street on November 9. The defendant was sentenced when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court. Dobson, of Glasgow Street, was sentenced to an eight-week 6pm to 6am curfew and told to pay compensation to both stores for the items he stole.
