受到滯留鋒面的影響，24日全台水庫紛紛進帳解渴，翡翠水庫拔得頭籌，石門水庫位居第二名，預估將有420萬噸的入流量；不過新竹的寶山和寶二水庫的集水區降雨量為9釐米，進水量僅37萬噸，只能暫時解小渴。
除了嚴峻的肺炎疫情之外，台灣許多縣市也面臨缺水危機，日前經濟部更以「史上最嚴峻」一詞形容。除了中部地區之外，由於石門水庫蓄水量跌破一成，桃園地區的用水也將面臨衝擊，近日桃園市經發局就在網站上公告，指出包含加油站洗車，以及運動中心、學校等游泳池都會暫停營運，呼籲民眾多加注意。
久旱不雨，水情緊張，桃園市長鄭文燦今受訪表示，水情從黃轉橙燈，他個人認為，若下月再不下雨，非常有可能進入最嚴峻的紅燈。鄭文燦今赴桃園機場捷運A18站視察因應武漢肺炎（新型冠狀病毒病，COVID-19）實聯制實施狀況，會後受訪談論水情表示，水情轉為橙燈，按照不同類別供水20%或13%，游泳池、三溫暖、洗車業暫時歇業，北水南調的力道應提高，增加至6萬噸。
