Mexico: Congress passes marijuana legalization bill © Provided by dw.com Mexico's Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday passed legislation that would legalize marijuana for recreational, medical, and scientific uses. The bill would make Mexico one of the largest markets for the legal marijuana industry, along with Canada and Uruguay. The bill was passed with 316 votes in favor and 129 against.
